Spring has officially sprung as April gets underway. We’re in that sweet spot where people are just getting the itch for beach season but are still enjoying the longer hours, brighter days, and warmer weather of Spring.

This April, let the season breathe fresh life into your email marketing. The second quarter of the year has just begun, so even if you had a lackluster start to the year, there’s still plenty of time to turn your ship around.

However, it all depends on what you do now, and bolstering your email marketing will surely help you attract more social media followers, website traffic, email subscribers, sales, and conversions.

You can use this as the theme of your newsletter, providing your best pointers on busting stress to improve well-being and physical and mental health.

2. Acknowledge Your Experts on Administrative Assistants Week

Another longer-running theme to build into your April newsletter is Administrative Assistants Week. Administrative Professionals Day on April 24th (the date varies from year to year) is built in.

This is an excellent time to heap extra appreciation on your admin assistants, making them feel like the rockstars of your office. After all, they do a lot to keep your company afloat and are like the unsung heroes of the business world.

Besides internal appreciation for these pros, spread the love outward. Many of your customers are probably administrative assistants themselves, so consider giving them a discount code to show you care.

The end of April is also National Karaoke Week. What better way to get into the spirit of May than by bidding April adieu and belting out your favorite song?

You can send an email earlier in April asking your audience to submit their favorite pets. Then, you can put the top-voted animals through a tournament, where the ones who acquire the most votes move on.

Eventually, you’ll have a one-on-one battle to declare the best pet, who will be your company’s mascot for National Pet Day!

11. Inspire Curiosity on Take a Wild Guess Day

Around the same time your income taxes are due is Take a Wild Guess Day. It’s always nice to distract your customers from having to pay the tax man and acknowledging this fun, the easy-to-enjoy occasion is a great way to do it!

As the name implies, Take a Wild Guess Day is about throwing something at a wall and seeing what sticks. You could take a picture of jelly beans in a tub and ask your customers to guess how many are in there.
